RIP Ken Bacon
Ken Bacon, a personal hero of mine, has passed away.
As the President of Refugees International, he was a tireless voice for the dispossed and a passionate (and effective) defender of vulernable people around the globe. He also gave me my first chance to travel to a refugee camp and to work with war-affected children. I am one of countless young people whose idealism he supported, and I will always be grateful to him for believing in me.
RIP Ken. You will be missed.
